Old King Coal Parade

We went to see the Old King Coal Parade and we got LOTS of candy!! But, mommy didn't give me any. Good thing I don't remember.

St. Paul's Picnic

We went to a picnic where there was this little girl, Riley, grandma wanted me to meet.  Right off the bat, here she came with a great big hug around my neck!!

As you can tell by the look on my face,  I'm not real sure about this.
BREAKING FREE!!  The girls just love me!!

A Few Videos

At the park there were some geese and boy did I want to go pet one.

One evening we went to the Murphysboro Apple Festival.  I danced (a little) for the band.

On the merry-go-round-again!!

Jumpin' On Grandpa's Back

Grandpa would lay on the floor and I would jump on his back WWF style!!  Then ride him like a horsey!!

Riding on Grandpa's Lawnmower.

Having fun with my Great-Grandpa's air conditioner.

My First Haircut!

While I was visiting Grandma and Grandpa we went up to see Jeanie to get my first haircut.  Mommy said she wanted to enjoy watching it and get lots of pictures!!

Waiting the get it done.
We tried it on a booster seat at first...
 but, that didn't last long.
So, on Grandpa's lap I went!

Yeah, Mommy let me chew on a (clean) comb for a minute...notice Grandma getting my hair in the background.

And, notice the cape didn't last long either.
 All done and lookin' purdy!!
And Grandpa NOT lookin' so purdy!

I didn't really know if I was winning or losing this game.
I gave Clifford a big hug!!
Grandma had to put her hand behind my head because I was letting the back of the chair bang my head.  I'm soooo silly!

At Grandma and Grandpa's

 At the Fair

The first evening we got to Grandma and Grandpa's we went to the DuQuoin State Fair.
Here I am looking into the birdcage watching the other kiddies feeding the birds.
Then, Grandma and I went in...and at first...everything was just fine...
...but then, all the birds came at us because they knew we had food (get a good look at that squinched up face).
But, it didn't take long for me to like the pretty birdies.
It was kinda cool.  But, I really wanted to get on the ground to play with them but, grandma wouldn't let me.  Good thing nobody noticed (except mommy and grandpa) that when we were about to leave the cage, I kinda stepped on a little birdie.  I didn't hurt him though....whew!
In the Exhibit Hall there was a rocking chair and mommy put me in it.
I like to make faces.  Especially at grandpa!
Ridin' the merry go round with grandma.  Always a favorite of mine!
Here I am on my very first fair ride!!  Look mommy, I'm a truckin' down the road (or rails)!!

Here I am as our 16th president-Abraham Lincoln.
