We had our own little cookout for supper on Mother's Day. And all of that afternoon consisted of playing, running around, and playing some more!
Tuck in his new sandbox Grandma and Grandpa bought for him while mommy and daddy were in Mexico. He loves it!
While we were playing, Daddy was doing some stuff in the yard and Tuck likes to wander into the storage building and see what he can find. This time it was a motorcycle helmet that he put on and would not take off! Which is really funny since it seems every time we try to put a hat on him he immediately takes it off! Maybe this is a good sign.
Oh boy, found a different helmet!
I guess it can be used as a football helmet too!!
And yet, another helmet!
He would put his hands on top of the helmet and tap. I guess it makes a cool sound or feeling.
Mark and I went to Mexico a couple weeks back and here's a few pictures from our trip. We took all these the morning right before we left.
This was the view we had for breakfast (the other mornings I had room service. I loved having breakfast served to my room, felt like the queen I am ;0) ).
Here are the two main pools on the property. The one on the right was an infinity pool that looked onto the beach.
Here's one of the cabana's.
Look at that beautiful blue Caribbean water and soft sand! I could just LIVE on that beach forever!
These are the little guys we saw running around wild like squirrels. Actually I thought they looked like an overgrown squirrel without a tail and with a longer rat-like snout. Never did find out what they're called.
We ordered a pillow pal Buzz Lightyear doll and when we went to pick it up, boy was he a lot bigger than we expected. That's ok, Tuck loves him! It's hard to tell just how big he is in this picture but, he's huge! Tuck sleeps with him and he takes up almost half of Tuck's space! He doesn't care, though.
And while we were at Wal-Mart, I decided to get Tucker some "real" cereal and I got some Apple Jacks. Well, as soon as he saw the box, he tried his darndest to get it open! You'd think he'd had them before but, nope. He sure does like Apple Jacks now.
And here he is the next morning eating them with milk! First time cereal eater!
Lookin' Cool
We got Tuck a pair of Buzz Lightyear sunglasses. Here he is lookin' cool in them.
Cars, Cars, Cars!!
Tuck would go get a couple cars then line them up on the bed (repeating the words "cars cars cars"). Sorry there's a small "down-time" in the video. Tuck took a little longer to get the last two cars. But, if you listen closely, you can hear him...cars cars cars!
Going to Have Some Fun at the Park
Before we went to the park, we stopped at a Walgreens to get some crackers to feed the ducks.
And we just couldn't leave...
without getting another "car"!
Waving to the Cars
This night on our walk, when cars would go by, Tucker would stop and gasp his breath (like he knew the person) and wave.
New Toy For the Yard
Because we don't have a much needed and wanted fence, Tuck likes to wander into our neighbors' yards our out into the culdisac (which is where a lot of other "big" kids play sometimes), we needed more to keep his attention in the back yard. So we got him a new toy. Must have towels always ready, though.
"What have you got now"?!
You never know what Tuck is going to pick up and carry around from time to time. Here he is carrying one of mommy's shoes, a car (of course), and a page from a cardboard book he tore out. Silly kid.
Here Tuck is in his Easter Sunday duds and getting his first real Easter Basket!
My balloon with Buzz Lightyear!! I LOVE Buzz!! (Pretty much all mommy hears all day is "Buh, Buh, Buh....That's how Tuck pronounces "Buzz"...It's SO cute! First thing in the morning, Tuck goes and gets all the Toy Story dvd's and brings them to me and says "Buh, Buh, Buh" wanting me to put one in the player).
Of course, Grandma had to get Joey an Easter present.
My light-up egg that looks like a baseball.
My new Buzz Lightyear lantern that I have carried around and not put down pretty much since I got it.
This is a chicken grandma and grandpa got me. It lays eggs!
Here comes one now!
I had to post this picture. Notice Joey in the bottom corner?!
Mommy was trying to get a good picture of me in my outfit but, that was pretty much impossible.
Something was funny!
My first chocolate bunny. I haven't really had chocolate yet. Anytime mommy tried to give me some, I just turned up my nose. Mommy wonders if I'm really her son...
Grandma gave me this special book. When I turn each page, there's a recording of her reading the book to me.
